At Quechua Tours Travel & Living Peru, we believe that traveling is not only about visiting destinations or taking photographs.
Traveling is about connecting with living cultures, sacred landscapes, ancestral stories and, many times, with a forgotten part of ourselves.
Our inspiration is born from the Andean philosophy of Allin Kawsay, an ancestral vision that teaches harmony between human beings, nature, and spirit.
Under this philosophy, we understand tourism not simply as a commercial activity, but as a human experience capable of transforming emotions, awakening consciousness, and creating everlasting memories.
Our Story
Behind this vision, there is also a life story.
Our founder, Rómulo Mora Laura, began his journey in tourism in 2004, working for a renowned international transportation company where he gained much of the operational and human experience that today gives life to our company.
Over the years, he learned to understand travelers, routes, logistics, and the importance of every detail within a travel experience.
However, it was while professionally training as a tour guide that a much deeper connection with Peru and the Andean world was born.
Among sacred mountains, ancient Inca trails, and ancestral communities, he discovered that the true value of travel was not only about reaching a destination, but about feeling and understanding it through the heart.
That was the moment when tourism stopped being simply a profession and became a life purpose.
The Andean Philosophy
The Andean world understood life as a sacred balance between human beings, nature, and community.
Its people lived under deeply human principles where respect, reciprocity, and collective well-being were essential parts of existence.
In the ancestral Andes, helping others was not considered an obligation, but a natural way of living.
There was a profound understanding that everything one gives to the universe inevitably returns.
For this reason, solidarity, respect for elders, love for Pachamama, and communal work were considered fundamental pillars of life.
This ancestral wisdom continues to deeply inspire the way we understand tourism and life itself.
