The 3-night program starts in the city of Iquitos, Peru, offering guests exceptional comfort during their journey into the depths of the Amazon rainforest, navigating along the Ucayali River, the largest tributary of the Amazon, as well as on other neighboring rivers, showcasing a natural richness full of wildlife. Go fishing, explore the dense jungle in search of the three-toed sloth, toucans, macaws, and then take the boats to observe turtles in their natural habitat, as well as to observe the friendly pink dolphins. As you navigate towards the confluence of the Marañón and Ucayali rivers, where the Amazon River is born, the experienced naturalist guide summarizes everything learned about the diversity of fauna in the Amazon River Jungle, especially the birds of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.

Day 01 Friday – IQUITOS / AMAZON RIVER
Upon arrival in the morning*, our crew will give you a warm welcome at the Iquitos International Airport and then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or during the route to the boat. The afternoon will continue with a tour of the historic city of Iquitos and a visit to an Amazon indigenous community. In the afternoon, we will board the Aria Amazon. Once settled in your spacious suite, one of the greatest adventures of your life will begin. After meeting our naturalist guides and conducting a routine safety drill, in the restaurant you will enjoy the first of several Amazon-inspired gastronomic experiences, created by the renowned consulting chef of Aria Amazon, Pedro Miguel Schiaffino.

Day 02 Saturday – AMAZON RIVER / YARAPA RIVER / NAUTA CAÑO
On comfortable boats, we will navigate from the Amazon to the Yarapa River. Get your binoculars ready to observe tropical songbirds, black-collared hawks, and sloths. You can fish for voracious Amazonian piranhas, while our naturalist guides share stories about Lake Moringo. As the sun sets, we will embark on a nature hike where we can appreciate the stars reflected in the black waters of Nauta Caño.

Day 03 Sunday: MARAÑÓN RIVER / JUNGLE WALK / YANAYACU PUCATE RIVER
Start the day very early watching a wide variety of birds along the Marañón River. We will visit an Amazonian village whose inhabitants will show us how aguaje palm is collected. You will have the opportunity to kayak, canoe, or swim in the Yanayacu Pucate River. After lunch, we will take a jungle walk, where you will observe flora and fauna including medicinal trees, insects, and poisonous frogs. You will learn more about the different strata and ecosystems of the tropical rainforest. Before dinner, you will meet the extraordinary crew working behind the scenes to ensure you have an exceptional experience aboard the Aria Amazon.

Day 04 Monday: NAUTA TOWN / MANATEE RESCUE CENTER / TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
In the morning, we will take a guided tour of the local market. You will marvel at the regional products of the Peruvian Amazon and, if you wish, taste exotic snacks. Then we will return to the Aria Amazon for breakfast and packing before disembarking. On the way to the airport, we will visit the Manatee Rescue Center, where orphaned Amazon manatees are rehabilitated before being released into the wild.
