DAY 01: LIMA/ PUERTO MALDONADO / ECO AMAZONÍA LODGE

Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Biodiversity Capital of Peru, visitors are welcomed at the airport. The program begins with a bus tour of the city, followed by a motorized boat trip from Puerto Capitanía along the Lower Madre de Dios River. During the journey, various species such as Capybaras, Caimans, Turtles, Herons, and Cormorants can be observed.
At the lodge, guests are greeted with a refreshing nectar of tropical fruits and taken to their comfortable rooms. A succulent lunch is served in the cozy rustic dining room. Subsequently, a specialized guide leads visitors on an interpretive trail to Cocha Caimán, a lagoon with the presence of black and white caimans.
At sunset, upon returning to the lodge, you can enjoy a spectacular Amazon sunset from the riverbank. The day ends with a delicious dinner and free time in the bar, equipped with a board game lounge and a variety of beverages

DAY 02: APU VÍCTOR LAKE / MONKEY ISLAND

The day begins with the charm of Amazonian bird songs and the call of the howler monkey. After a delicious breakfast, a walk through the forest with prepared trails, bridges, and a fascinating view of the flora and fauna begins, culminating in the impressive Apu Víctor Lake. From the Amazon Viewpoint, panoramic views of the lake are enjoyed, with the possibility of spotting parrots, macaws, toucans, shanshos, herons, and animals such as caimans and turtles. If luck is on your side, you can observe the Giant Otter.
After a restorative lunch, the afternoon leads to a visit to Monkey Island, located on the Madre de Dios River. Accompanied by a guide, spectacular landscapes with a varied flora are explored, and monkeys such as maquisapas, capuchins, and squirrel monkeys are observed, as well as other species such as coatis and sloths. The day ends with the sunset on the island, followed by a return to the lodge to enjoy a pleasant dinner.

DAY 03: LOST COCHA

The day begins with the song of paradise birds, followed by a hearty breakfast to prepare for a morning full of new experiences. After breakfast, an adventure begins through the virgin jungle with a local guide, exploring the Lost Cocha, a unique ecosystem in the Eco Amazonía Ecological Reserve. Here, there is the opportunity to observe an impressive variety of animals, from otters and caimans to multicolored birds and the majestic jaguar.
The day continues with a visit to the extraordinary Amazon Viewpoint, offering stunning views of the immense jungle. A pleasant canoe ride around the lake precedes the return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, there is the option to visit the local Botanical Garden or relax in the Amazon Pool. The night is completed with a delicious farewell dinner and, if desired, a lively night at the lodge’s bar to say goodbye to friends.

DAY 03: GAMITANA RIVER

The day begins with the song of paradise birds and a nutritious breakfast to prepare for a morning full of new experiences. Then, embark on another excursion through the Amazon rainforest, navigating the Madre de Dios River to reach the Gamitana or Briolo River. Here, enjoy a refreshing experience, with the possibility of swimming safely, sport fishing, and observing birds, caimans, turtles, and the impressive landscape of the Madre de Dios River. You also visit a local family dedicated to agriculture in the jungle. The return to the lodge through navigable channels offers the opportunity to observe animals such as turtles, caimans, birds, and insects up close. The afternoon is free for photographs around the Lodge and the possibility of visiting the botanical garden with medicinal and fruit plants. The day ends with an exquisite farewell dinner and, if desired, a lively night at the bar to bid farewell to friends.

DAY 04: ECO AMAZONÍA LODGE / LIMA

After a restful night’s sleep, our breakfast awaits you in our dining room before returning to Puerto Maldonado, in time for you to take your flight back to Lima or any other destination.
